I am a French graduate of Sciences Po Paris, having moved to New York where I work in finance. Before moving to the United States, I spent most of life in Paris. In addition to my bachelor's degree from Sciences Po Paris, I hold a Master's in Management from the University of Cambridge, and I economics at UC Berkeley for one year.
I have been giving French and general tutoring lessons in France for the past four years, teaching close to ten students, both non-native French speakers looking to learn French, and French middle graders looking to improve their written and oral expression in the context of their school curriculum in France.
With my students, I focus on leading an interactive conversation and exercises, which are in my opinion the best way to achieve significant improvement in French. French is quite a complex language, with many grammatical and vocabulary subtleties that are best acquired through practice and conversation, rather than theoretical memorization.
I now work in investment banking at a firm Mid Town, but I have decided to continue tutoring because I enjoy passing on these skills and allowing students to fulfill their potential.
