Dear Verbling community, my name is Nataliya. I am a certified language consultant (PeerTutor) and a teacher of the Russian language at the university in Germany. For three years, I have been teaching my mother tongue individually and in groups. I like my job and seek constant development, so I decided to share my passion for the Russian language online. My priority in teaching languages is an individual approach. What does it mean? First of all, I organize my lessons according to the goals of my students. Some of them may aim at improving their general speaking skills travelling in Russia, others for business or academic purposes. These goals require different tasks and approach. Clarifying the wishes and motivations of my students at the beginning of the lesson, I can identify how I can help them to achieve their personal goals and organize the lessons effectively. It is also crucial for me to create a pleasant atmosphere which motivates and encourages my students. To do so, I always aim at creating tasks which fit the personal profile of my students (such as visual tasks, memory tasks, situational dialogues, etc.). As an experienced Russian teacher, I would be glad to be a part of your community and hope to hear from you soon.
Best wishes. Nataliya
