عني

My name is Carla Michelle. I am from Virginia in the United States of America. I love teaching because I love making connections with my students. It doesn’t matter the age or skill level of a student, there is always a new and valuable experience to gain.

I have my master of education degree and have taught professionally in schools both public and private for six years.  Since 2017, I have lived in Mexico City, Mexico. Here, I teach at an international private school.  In the evenings, I work as a private tutor for families of adult and children English learners.

Learning should be fun! This is why I utilize encouragement and positivity in each lesson. I also work hard to tailor my lessons to the individual needs and preferences of my students. Some of my students prefer to practice their conversational skills with new vocabulary, others prefer to learn more targeted skills such as business language, and for some others still, we start at with the very basics of English and build.
