Γεια σας! Καλωσορίσατε στο προφίλ μου! Hello to everyone! Μy name is Panagiota Papadimitriou. I am a professional online Greek teacher. I was born in Greece and Greek is my native language. I started learning English at the age of 7. So I am very fluent in English. Since my childhood, I wanted to be a teacher. So I followed my dream and I studied in Pedagogical University of Athens. Personally I am an outgoing person. I like meeting people from different countries. I have a lot of good friends from all over the world. From my degree and practical experiences, I can assure you that I understand how to teach Greek to people from different levels. I'm very dynamic in teaching. Qualifications & Experience: I graduated from the Pedagogical Kapodistrian University of Athens. In my university I had many lessons on how to maximize student’s potentials and make the lesson interesting and efficient. I also had attended seminars on Psychology and on new teaching models. I also have the Certificate of Proficiency in English from the University of Michigan. I speak fluently both of English and Greek. For the last 3 years I have been teaching Modern and Ancient Greek and until now I have successfully taught over 100 people from different walks of life. Teaching Approach: I have my own style of teaching. I do not follow the traditional way. My teaching strategy depends on people, their age, their need, the level of their Greek knowledge, and the level of their understanding. I normally determine that on the first lesson with the student. I will provide you with notes and exercises that you need. Target Students: Currently i am teaching only Ancient Greek with people who love our culture and want to explore the philosophy or the new testament Greek . Special offers for new students: I offer a trial lesson to my new students.
Hey everyone! Γεια σας! I am a native speaker of Greek. I have a Masters Degree from the University of Athens in teaching Greek as a foreign language. I started teaching Modern Greek in 2012 and I have taught all levels of Greek (A1-C2) with 100% success rate on my students receiving the Greek language certification accredited by the Greek government. I teach Modern Greek to be used for various purposes such as simple conversation, educational or business needs or for any purpose needed. I also teach ancient Greek to those who love ancient Greek culture or to those who want to read and understand the New Testament. I always keep current with the latest achievements in the methodology and technology of teaching Greek as a foreign language and I am able to adjust those to fit specific needs of students.
I am a Greek teacher with MSc in Educational Psychology (excellently rated). Studying Psychology helped me to understand my student's needs and made me able to handle students with special needs. My lesson is individually based on each one's necessities and potentials. Additionally, I studied and know perfectly how to use Student-Centered Instructional Strategies. The last eight years I have been teaching the Greek language to children and adults from countries all over the world. I also have been accepted and I'm about to begin (on September) a second MSc in Technologies of Learning and Communication. It should be mentioned that I have written my first scientific article, about the pedagogical approach of Celestin Freinet, in order to be published on September. Now I am working on another one (always the central theme is education).
